“Jesus said to them, ‘The light is with you for a little longer. Walk while you have the light, so that the darkness may not overtake you. If you walk in the darkness, you do not know where you are going. While you have the light, believe in the light, so that you may become children of light.”
John 12:35-36

Believe in the light, so that we may become children of light; so that we may receive an inheritance of faith, for which we are responsible to steward and nurture, and pass along ourselves; so that we may know where we are going in our spiritual walk and trust that we are being guided in righteousness; so that we may recognize, sense, what we are called to believe, which Jesus reveals to us. While we have the light, while we engage in spiritual practices that bring us close to Jesus, believe in the light of Christ so that we may become people who know the light of Christ.

Darkness-defeating God, Jesus is the beacon and the path and our companion on our journey of faith, and we trust in his light, which You have given to us. All glory and honour are Yours, God most holy. Amen
